GLOBAL SUPPLY PLANNING DIRECTOR

Multinational pharmaceutical company operating in more than 100 countries worldwide is looking for a Global Supply Chain Director located in Ireland, is their distribution hub
MISION:
Responsible for global supply planning and ensuring sufficient and timely supply of products to meet market demands, while balancing against cost and inventory targets for profitability.
MAIN DUTIES: 
Manage a global supply planning team, including establising and managing department policies, planning and forecasting procedures, data organization and structure, reporting, metrics, inventory consolidation activities and continuous improvement activities.
Work with Quality, Regulatory, Logistics and Controlling functions to ensure all supply planning operations are in compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
Responsible for continuous improvements of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, management and operations.
Serve as liaison between factories and Demand Planning / Commercial Operations to ensure value-added outcomes.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Scientific field.  Emphasis on Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of related experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
Hands-on experience with SAP or ERP systems preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language. Spanish is preferred.
APICS Certification or Kaizen Lean Six Sigma training / certification high preferred. 
Availability to travel (25%).
